At PM Volt, we are committed to supplying reliable lithium battery products and providing our customers with appropriate after-sales support. This Return, Refund & Replacement Policy explains the conditions under which products purchased from PM Volt may be returned, replaced, or refunded.
By purchasing products from PM Volt, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.
A product may be eligible for return or replacement if:
The product received is defective or non-functional upon delivery.
The wrong product or model was supplied by PM Volt.
The product received does not correspond to the confirmed order.
The product was damaged during transportation and the damage is reported within the specified reporting period.
The product has a manufacturing defect covered under the applicable warranty.
All return or replacement requests are subject to inspection and verification by PM Volt.
Customers should inspect the package and product immediately after delivery.
If the package or battery appears damaged, the customer should:
Take clear photographs of the outer packaging.
Take photographs/videos showing the damage to the product.
Record the order/invoice number.
Contact PM Volt customer support as soon as possible.
For transportation-related damage, customers should notify PM Volt within 48 hours of delivery, unless a different period is specified on the invoice or product-specific policy.
Failure to report visible transportation damage within the applicable period may affect eligibility for replacement.
If PM Volt supplies an incorrect product, model, capacity, or specification compared with the confirmed order, the customer should contact us promptly.
After verification, PM Volt may arrange:
Replacement with the correct product; or
Another appropriate resolution agreed with the customer.
The incorrectly supplied product may need to be returned before the replacement is dispatched.
If a battery is found to have a manufacturing defect or is non-functional upon receipt, PM Volt may request photographs, videos, diagnostic information, serial-number details, or other information necessary to assess the issue.
Depending on the outcome of the inspection, PM Volt may provide:
Repair, where appropriate;
Replacement;
Warranty service; or
Refund, where applicable.
A product will not automatically qualify for replacement merely because it is not performing as expected. Technical inspection may be required to determine whether the issue is caused by a manufacturing defect, installation, charging equipment, application, misuse, or another factor.
Because lithium batteries are specialized energy-storage products, customers must not ship, transport, open, dismantle, or modify a suspected damaged or unsafe battery without appropriate instructions.
If a battery is swollen, excessively hot, leaking, smoking, physically damaged, or otherwise appears unsafe, stop using it and contact PM Volt immediately.
PM Volt will provide appropriate instructions regarding inspection, collection, transportation, or disposal where required.
Customers should not independently send damaged lithium batteries through ordinary courier services without confirming that the carrier is authorized to transport the product.
Returns or replacements may not be accepted where the issue has resulted from:
Improper installation.
Incorrect wiring or connection.
Use with an incompatible charger, inverter, controller, or other equipment.
Overcharging or improper charging.
Excessive discharge or operation outside specified limits.
Short-circuiting.
Physical impact or accidental damage.
Water, fire, heat, or environmental damage.
Unauthorized opening or dismantling.
Modification of the battery or BMS.
Tampering with serial numbers or identification labels.
Negligence or misuse.
Normal wear and tear.
Use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions.
Unauthorized repair or servicing.
Commercial or industrial use outside the product's specified application.
Damage occurring after delivery due to circumstances outside PM Volt's responsibility.
Where a return is approved, the product should, where reasonably possible, be returned:
In its original packaging.
With all supplied accessories.
With the original invoice/order details.
With labels, serial numbers, and identification markings intact.
Without unauthorized modification or physical damage.
However, warranty claims involving defective products will be evaluated based on the nature of the defect and may not always require the original packaging.
Where PM Volt confirms that the return is due to an incorrect product supplied by PM Volt or an eligible manufacturing/transportation defect, PM Volt may arrange or reimburse reasonable return transportation costs, subject to verification.
Where a return is requested for reasons unrelated to a product defect or PM Volt's error, the customer may be responsible for applicable transportation and handling charges.
Lithium battery transportation must comply with applicable transportation and safety requirements.
Where a refund is approved, the refund amount and method will depend on the circumstances of the transaction.
A refund may be considered where:
PM Volt is unable to provide the ordered product.
An eligible defective product cannot reasonably be repaired or replaced.
An incorrect product was supplied and an appropriate replacement cannot be provided.
A refund is otherwise required under applicable law or agreed in writing.
Refunds will normally be processed through the original payment method where technically and legally possible.
The time required for the amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution.
Where applicable and legally permitted, refunds may be adjusted for:
Shipping charges that are non-refundable.
Return transportation charges.
Installation or service charges already incurred.
Damage caused by the customer.
Missing accessories or components.
Other charges expressly agreed at the time of purchase.
No deduction will be made where prohibited by applicable law.
Customers may request cancellation of an order before the product has been dispatched.
Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible.
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible and the customer may need to follow the applicable return procedure.
Customized, specially configured, or made-to-order battery products may be subject to different cancellation conditions.
Once a product has been dispatched, cancellation may be subject to return-shipping, handling, restocking, and other applicable charges, unless the cancellation or return is due to a defect, incorrect product, or another circumstance for which PM Volt is responsible.
A return request and a warranty claim are not necessarily the same.
Products covered by a specific warranty will be handled according to the applicable warranty terms, including the warranty period, exclusions, usage conditions, and claim procedure.
Customers may be required to provide:
Purchase invoice.
Product serial number.
Installation details.
Battery usage information.
Charging equipment details.
Photographs or videos.
Diagnostic information.
PM Volt reserves the right to inspect the product before approving a warranty replacement or other remedy.
All returns, replacements, and warranty claims are subject to verification.
PM Volt may inspect the product physically or remotely before determining the appropriate resolution.
Inspection may include examination of:
Battery cells.
BMS.
Terminals.
Casing.
Wiring.
Voltage and capacity.
Charging/discharging history where available.
Physical damage.
Signs of misuse or tampering.
The final resolution will be determined based on the inspection findings and the applicable warranty, purchase terms, and law.
If a replacement is approved, PM Volt may provide:
The same model;
An equivalent model; or
Another suitable product agreed upon with the customer,
subject to product availability.
If the replacement product has a different price, the applicable price adjustment will be communicated to the customer before dispatch.
If a PM Volt product was purchased through an authorized dealer, distributor, reseller, marketplace, or other third party, the customer may first be required to contact the original seller.
PM Volt may provide warranty or technical assistance according to the applicable product warranty and distribution arrangement.
Customized, specially configured, assembled, or made-to-order battery products may not be eligible for cancellation or return solely because the customer changes their requirements.
Such products will be handled according to the specific quotation, purchase order, agreement, and applicable law.
